Jacob Buchner

Jacob Buchner is a bright and ambitious young man who moved to Horicon, WI when he was seven years old. In his time being here, he has been active in many volunteer activities starting in 2010 when he was a sophomore at Horicon High School. His first volunteer project was helping build the community gardens. Since then he has been an active member of the Horicon Phoenix Program:

  • Volunteers at the Horicon Farmers Market and Community Gardens
  • Helped build and maintain the playground at Kiwanis Park, the Horicon Phoenix Disk Golf Course, and the Little Free Libraries
  • Assists with the holiday lights and ice rink at River Bend Park
  • Leads the Horicon Haunted History project

Since Jacob was eighteen years old he has been driving a forklift at Con-trol Container Control Systems. Along with his efforts in volunteer time and driving forklift, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends. Although Jacob isn’t as experienced as he would like to be, he is still very eager to learn and take on any challenges thrown toward his way.
