Dan Buchner
Dan Buchner graduated in 1985 from Manitowoc Lutheran High School. In January of 1986 he enlisted in the U.S.A.F. and spent over 3 years as an aircraft mechanic at Mountain Home A.F.B, ID. After his tour of service Dan spent his next 3 years as a Lighting Director and Road Mgr. for a touring band based out of Minneapolis. In June of 1992 Dan went to work for the company that would eventually end up as a part of FedEx Services where he still works today, as a Sr. Operations Supervisor for FedEx at the John Deere Horicon Works.
Dan joined the Horicon Phoenix Program in March of 2008 soon after its founding and has served on the Board of Directors . His projects include the Summer Concert Series, Horicon Community Gardens, the Jersey Street Music Festival and the Discher Park historic restoration, among others. Dan has been active in various committees for the City of Horicon and will also be serving on the Board of Directors at the Horicon Marsh International Education Center beginning in January of 2013.
