Operation Take Flight invites you to participate in the 2nd Annual Horicon Street Art Program – a unique collaboration of art created to beautify the streets of Horicon. Duck sculptures will go on display for the thousands of visitors and locals to enjoy in May 2024. We have expanded our area to include Horicon, Juneau, Iron Ridge, Mayville, Beaver Dam & Columbus.
The fiberglass duck will be 19” tall, 14.5” long and 9” in diameter and white in color. They will be glued to a wooden base. Freeform designs will also be accepted for review. All ducks will be on display on the Streets of Horicon, Mayville, Iron Ridge, Juneau, Beaver Dam & Columbus from mid-May leading up to the 2nd Annual Street Art Auction in September, 2024.
As mentioned above, the ducks will be auctioned off to the public in September. One half of the net profit of your artwork, will be given back to you. The other half will support future park beautification projects in Horicon. Please see the attached application below.
