Music, Art and Local Food Tonight at Kiwanis Park

Wednesday, July 9, 2014, 4 – 8 pm

Join us on this beautiful day for a relaxing evening at the park.

This week’s art features: Leaf Prints in the Horicon Library’s Art in the Park tent (6-7:30 pm), plein air painting by Original Oils (4-8 pm), and the The Art Market of Wild Goose Fine Arts United (4-8 pm)

Farmers Market: Strawberries, fresh herbs, garlic scapes, spring onions, spring greens, spinach, asparagus, kohlrabi, rhubarb, canned goods, honey, bedding & veggie plants, perennials, hanging baskets, handmade crafts, fine art, hand crafted soap, and locally roasted coffee.
Art in the Park free children’s project: Leaf Prints (6 -7:30 pm)
Food Vendor: Horicon Lions Club (5-8 pm)

Lemonade flavors: Old Fashioned Lemonade, Strawberry Lemonade, Berry Blast,Sweet Tea

Summer Concert: Run Carolina (6-7:30 pm)

Run Carolina (formerly Southern Traditions), one of the hottest country bands in the Midwest, has captivated audiences and has become a staple at packed clubs, large festivals, and the biggest of events. Based out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Run Carolina’s explosive show focuses on the latest modern country hits that have fans dancing and singing all night long. From performing at the top venues like Red Rock Saloon and Boot Morning Wakeup Show, opening up for the Platinum selling recording artist Josh turner, Run Carolina is a hard working band in demand.

Weekly 50 / 50 cash raffle (4-8 pm)

  • We will have a 50/50 raffle each week at the market.
  • Raffle tickets can be purchased underneath the blue and white Horicon Phoenix tent.
  • $1 for 1, $5 for 10, or an arm-length for just $10!
  • The winner will be announced at the end of the evening.
  • Winner must be present to claim the prize.
  • All proceeds from the raffle help fund the summer concert series.

The Art Market of Wild Goose Fine Arts United (4-8 pm)

  • An art gallery in a tent!
  • Changing selections of art from members of Wild Goose Fine Arts United will be presented each Wednesday.
  • Watch for Laura from Original Oils creating works of art live at the market!
  • This week at the Art Market tent: Sleepy Sailor Coffee will be selling their local artisan roasted coffee beans and will be selling iced coffee.
