Bob Rettmann
Bob has lived in Horicon since 1998, when he accepted the position of Editor for theĀ Horicon Reporter, a position he held for nearly five years. He currently serves as the Director of Research and Communications for the Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) in Milwaukee, the worldwide leader in crisis prevention and intervention training for human services professionals. Through surveying, proactive media management, qualitative and quantitative research, and actual in-person connections, Bob helps CPI gain the important vision of what customers hope to gain, what they need, and what will help them best.
Bob graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2011 with an MSEd in Exceptional Education and from Marquette University in 1998 with a B.S. in Newspaper Journalism. Bob also worked as a drill sergeant in the US Army Reserves, where he served a total of 14 years, including one year of active duty in Iraq. Bob holds office as Chairman for the City of Horicon Police and Fire Commission and as an alternate for the City of Horicon Zoning Board of Appeals.
Bob is a founding member of the Horicon Phoenix Group.
